Help the Homeless!

My Mother is a part of Wayne State Alumni and she found an opportunity to donate to the homeless. She called my Father and me to come take a look at the options. We kept scrolling down for options until we found hygiene kits. We thought that was perfect! After we took a look at the materials, we thought it would be easy to put hygiene kits together.

After we got all of the materials, the packing started. We had to make male and female kits, then package them up in brown bags. We even added ribbon to make them look pretty. In total, we had made 10 full bags. Later that week, we drove more than an hour with a suitcase filled with the bags. We dropped them off at Union Station for Homeless Services.
