Stanford University!

Updated: Nov 23, 2020

For summer, my parents and I went on a fun road trip! Because of the pandemic, we couldn't go out much for the past several months. This week, we decided that we would have a safe trip to a hotel in Northern California and back.

Throughout the eight hours on the road, we stopped only a couple times. One was breakfast at Whole Foods Market in Santa Barbara. Two was Chipotle in Salinas. Third was to see the amazing Stanford University! This stop was on the way to Sonoma County, CA. It might have delayed our destination time to our hotel by 30 minutes, but it was definitely worth it!

As our car pulled up to see the incredible views, I let out a small wow. The school was so spread out and had lots of buildings with probably many different purposes. It was also very pretty too! It looked like the biggest, grandest, most elegant palace in the world. I would have never thought that such an old building could look so beautiful.

As we got off the car, we started briskly walking towards the school. Corroborating is unnecessary, the fact speak for themselves - this is the most fascinating place in the world. Stanford University teaches lot of different subjects!

They have a big music department too with professor, Heather Hadlock. She says, “Here at Stanford, people are constantly in conversation with one another."

Since my dad went to an Ivy League school, and my mom has a Ph.D, my family likes to visit schools pretty often. And me, well, I just love visiting schools! Schools are super fun to visit! Due to Covid, I couldn't see any classrooms in Stanford, but the school itself was definitely a sight to see!

Bonus: Here are some of the photos we took. Check them out!

I love going to Universities too and America has so many great ones. I had a chance to work for the University and lived in Palo Alto. It was amazing!
