Lemme start with one thing. There are tons of times when I'm super lazy, unmotivated and watching the same Ariana Grande song 50 times. In other words, the most unproductive a human being could be. So now, this blog post is not just tips on how to stay productive for you, it'll also serve as a reminder for me.
1. Clean your Working Area + Decorate
I hate cleaning my room and I still do. But then I realized how much of a change it did. By making me more positive, happy, and hardworking. So you can already see that it makes me more productive! Don't believe me yet? For example, if you wake up to a messy room, how would you react? Lets be honest, you'd groan, slither out of bed, be lazy towards everything and you'd also be very unproductive. On the other hand, what would happen if you woke up into a clean room? You would smile, stretch, and say hello to your family! In my opinion, when you wake up fuels the energy for the entire day. That said, the energy around where you wake up has the same importance.
Decorating your workspace might seem like the same idea for you, but to me it's very different. I can't work even temporarily, somewhere that doesn't have a dose of my personality in it. Let me describe my workspace. There's a spall colorful bulletin board that my friend gave to me and it has only 4 things on it. A cute note from my cousin, a I'm Vaccinated sticker from my doctor, and two TV characters that I like. See, it's so simple but it makes my day looking at it. Especially the Happy Raksha-Bandhan letter. I have encouraging stickers on my device, a mat for the mouse of when I was 4, a bunny alarm clock that I bought with my own earned money, a card from a friend, and a funny meme hanging off the side of the desk with some matching stickers. Everyone will have different things that make that person, themselves! So simple, but so perfect to me.

2. Have a Plan.
What is the point of calling yourself productive if you don't have a plan? Well having a non-planned day may work for you for it's a big NOPE from me. I need a plan to fulfill my goals for the day. Two apps I use is Study Bunny, and mimi. Study Bunny is a great app if you need motivation and you can't feel it. You get this bunny and you can set timers and with the timers, you can get rewards from how much you studied. You also get carrots to feed your bunny. I'm into this type of stuff, but it's okay if its not for you! mimi is one of the first this I do every morning! I write "Today's To-Do and Goal List" and start listing. The list is usually consisting of 10 things and I try to knock out 7. To me, it's reasonable.

I'm not saying that a plan is work, work, work. Being that would be very hard and not enjoyable in the slightest way. Every 20 minutes, I take a 10 minute break and go on YouTube. I like watching things positive and encourage me to keep going. For me, I watch Study to Success, and nintendo.grl and other kawaii Tiktoks. Or I watch pastel, aesthetic room redecor. I don't watch action and fighting, I do that later in the day. But in my 10 minute relax breaks, I watch positive short videos.
3. Be Social+ Do Things Your Way
One thing I like to do is contact my friends. Whether it's on FaceTime, Audio Call or even Texting, I enjoy it. Sometimes my friend and I would be on FaceTime and we wouldn't even say anything because we were doing our own things.
"Anya, who are you talking to?"
"My friend."
"But why don't we hear anything?"
Because it makes us kids think we're talking and being social. The main reason I keep my phone on even if we're not talking, is cause it makes me happy thinking that someone is there for me. Sometimes, you don't need your phone to be social. Go outside of your room! Talk with your parent or parents! Pet your dog, say hi to your nanny! There are millions of ways to be social!
And do things your way if you truly believe that you are being productive somehow. You know yourself better than anyone anyway! One thing I do is I listen to music while working. I know it annoys others like my Mum when she is working, but it's the only thing that can make me be creative, right now as I am writing this, I'm listening to Upbeat Kawaii Music. I listen to music when I'm reading, writing, sketching, putting away clothes, and chilling on my bed. It helps me so why not? And if you have a small home like I do, where everyone can hear your music, headphones are a good option. Just don't keep them on 24/7 cause it's bad for your ears.
Having a clean workspace, a plan and being firm about how you know you can work all lead to being productive. Actually everyone probably has a different idea of how to be productive. But right now, these three tips will help you stay productive.
