Why is K-Pop so Addictive?

A few months ago, I got attracted to the world of K-Pop. Specifically in the song, How you like that, by Blackpink. I had already knew what Blackpink was, I just had never cared for it. I fell in love with how everything sounded so I looked a little more into K-Pop. I learned about all of the popular band like BTS, Blackpink, TWICE, and so on.
South Korean performers spend years in studio systems learning to sing and dance. For example, the K-Pop group Blackpink, does a dance for every single song they do. And with other K-Pop groups like BTS, it's exactly the same!
Another thing that I noticed in a lot of K-Pop is that everything has a melody that gets stuck in your head. According to medium.com, K-Pop is designed to be addicting. K-Pop has a repetitive melody that is what makes you remember the tune.
The most popular Korean Pop band right now is hands down BTS. They have reached number one on iTunes in more than 65 countries, have held first place on Billboard's Social 50 chart for 114 weeks in a row, and also have millions of fans, (their fan name is army's).
Some other popular bands right now are Blackpink, Twice, EXO, BigBang, and Red Velvet.

K-Pop is something that is a big part of my life nowadays. I listen to it for hours every week.
I'm trying not to get even more annoying, because at one point; it was all I listened to, talked about and it was bugging my parents like crazy.
So, yes I'm trying. But this was my blog post on why K-Pop was addictive. The melody and the dance!
